The pain Edward experienced from arthritis in his right hip was so bad that he couldn't sleep at night. After enduring the pain for 15 years, he finally underwent hip replacement surgery. "You just figure, 'Hey, it's arthritis. I'm getting older; I'm supposed to hurt,'" he said. At age 75, Edward has lived pain-free with his hip replacement for three years. "There's no reason pain should be a part of life," he said.

Edward enjoys living an active lifestyle with his wife Evelyn, which is why he encouraged her to seek replacement for a painful knee. Just weeks after undergoing the procedure, Evelyn said, "I'm coming along just fine. My husband and I plan to do a lot of traveling. We have a lot to look forward to."
